It all started when we were kids. My sister and I would accompany our uncle to dog shows where he entered American Cocker Spaniels. We were amazed at the work that went into preparing a dog for show and what a difference grooming makes. A dog may have beautiful structure, but it takes a great deal of good grooming and conditioning for a dog to shine in the ring.

That inspired us to want to own and show dogs, definitely something easier said than done! We suffered from severe asthma attacks as kids, and were also allergic to fur. We could not stay in the same room with dogs or it would lead to a breakout of hives and wheezing for the next 2 weeks. Thankfully, our condition improved as we got older, and we finally got our first dog when we were 10, an American Cocker Spaniel puppy from my uncle's breeding.

Our experience with our first dog, Happy, was full of ups and downs. Although we never got round to showing her and only kept her as a pet, she brought a lot of joy into our family. Unfortunately, Happy was plagued with a multitude of health issues and from her, we learnt the importance of genetic testing, diet, shampoo as well as many other things.
After Happy's passing, we didn't get another dog for a couple of years. However, in 2006, the decision was made to import our first Australian Shepherd. We were in love with Aussies! This started our passion for showing, and we have been proud to achieve multiple Best In Group wins and placings at dog shows organized by the Singapore Kennel club.
